Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 membawakan “Konvoi Eksklusif Lamborghini 2026” hari ini menerusi kerjasama dengan Lamborghini Owners Malaysia (LOM), yang menghimpunkan kira-kira 100 buah kenderaan Lamborghini dalam satu konvoi istimewa. Penganjuran ini merupakan sebahagian daripada pengisian Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026, sekali gus menyokong usaha mempromosikan Malaysia sebagai destinasi pelancongan yang dinamik dan pelbagai pengalaman, selaras dengan Kempen Melawat Malaysia 2026–2027 (VM2026–2027).

Konvoi tersebut dilepaskan (flag-off) dari IOI City Mall, Putrajaya pada jam 12.00 tengah hari sebelum meneruskan perjalanan mengikut laluan yang ditetapkan menuju ke Litar Antarabangsa Sepang (SIC), Selangor. Setibanya di destinasi, kenderaan-kenderaan berkenaan dipamerkan menerusi pameran automotif terbuka yang memberi peluang kepada orang ramai, peminat sukan permotoran dan pelawat antarabangsa untuk menyaksikan koleksi kenderaan ikonik tersebut dengan lebih dekat.

Majlis pelepasan konvoi disempurnakan oleh YBrs. Tuan Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, Setiausaha Politik kepada Menteri Kewangan, bersama YBhg. Dato’ Shaharuddin Abu Sohot, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya. Turut hadir ialah YBrs. Encik Mohd Akbal Setia, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Promosi) & Ketua Sekretariat Kempen Melawat Malaysia 2026–2027 Tourism Malaysia; Encik Roslan Rosdi, Presiden LOM; wakil IOI Properties; dan Cik Angela Mak yang mewakili YES Travel & Holidays.

Mengangkat tema “Art, Culture, Speed, Together” dan “Malaysia Moves Together”, Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 menggabungkan elemen budaya automotif, hiburan dan promosi pelancongan dalam satu platform yang menarik di IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. Penganjuran ini turut memanfaatkan daya tarikan sukan permotoran dan keunikan gaya hidup automotif bagi memperkenalkan Malaysia kepada khalayak yang lebih luas, termasuk menerusi liputan media sosial dan platform digital.

Penganjuran festival ini turut menyokong usaha meningkatkan minat dan kunjungan pelawat antarabangsa ke Malaysia, seiring dengan prestasi positif sektor pelancongan negara. Bagi tempoh Januari hingga Ogos 2026, Malaysia merekodkan sebanyak 28.8 juta ketibaan pelawat antarabangsa, meningkat sebanyak 1.8 peratus berbanding 28.2 juta ketibaan dalam tempoh yang sama pada tahun 2025. Ini mencerminkan momentum positif pertumbuhan sektor pelancongan negara sepanjang pelaksanaan VM2026–2027.

Inisiatif kerjasama strategik antara sektor awam dan swasta menerusi Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 dijangka turut memberikan limpahan manfaat ekonomi kepada pelbagai sektor berkaitan, termasuk hospitaliti, makanan dan minuman serta peruncitan di Putrajaya dan Sepang. Usaha ini sekali gus memperkukuh peranan industri pelancongan sebagai salah satu pemangkin pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

Kepentingan sektor ini turut dizahirkan menerusi Akaun Satelit Pelancongan 2025, yang merekodkan sumbangan industri pelancongan sebanyak 15.9 peratus kepada Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK) Malaysia, bersamaan RM323.0 bilion dalam Nilai Ditambah Kasar Industri Pelancongan (GVATI).
